As a double-edged sword,capillary is not only prevalent in nature,but also plays an important role in daily life,industrial production and scientific research.Contact angle,surface tension coefficient and the prediction of the rise or fall height of capillary water are all closely related to capillary action,and for the actual liquid and solid surface,there are many factors related to capillary action.In order to correctly evaluate the capillary effect,play its beneficial side and suppress its harmful side,this paper analyzes the influence of droplet size,droplet volatilization,pore aperture and other factors on contact angle and the relationship between droplet size and rolling angle,and analyzes the reasons for the difference between the measured value of liquid in capillary tube and the predicted value of Jurin standard,the main research results are as follows:(1)The reason for the difference between the actual rising height of liquid in capillary and the predicted value of jurin criterion is that for a certain liquid and capillary material,the contact angle in capillary is not a fixed value,and its size is closely related to the inner diameter of capillary;for the contact angle in capillary,there is a critical aperture,under which the contact angle can reach the minimum When the aperture is smaller than or larger than the aperture,the contact angle will increase.(2)There is a negative correlation between the droplet size and the rolling angle,the larger the droplet volume is,the smaller the rolling angle is;when the solid surface is perpendicular to the horizontal plane,that is,the rolling angle is 90 degrees,only when the droplet size reaches a certain volume,the sliding will occur.(3)the liquid rises within the capillary tube,the contact angle is a dynamic process.From the liquid in the capillary tube began to rise to rise and stabilize,the contact angle will increase with the height of capillary water,showing the first increase and then decrease the law.(4)When the contact angle of horizontal solid surface is measured by using altimetation method in natural state,the size of droplets and the volatilization of droplets will have a significant effect on the measurement results.The larger the volume of the droplet,the longer the evaporation time,the greater the relative error of the contact angle measurement results.
