With the development of economy and society,the application fields and detection tasks of geophysical prospecting have undergone tremendous changes.Geophysical instruments for different working environments and tasks are required.The shortage of traditional instrument development is more and more obvious in develop ing speed and upgrading ability.To this end,this paper has carried out geophysical research and development based on virtual instrument technology.The basic structure of virtual instrument is "sensor-data acquisition card-PC",and the core of research and development is software.The general design scheme of geophysical virtual instrument established by the research work;the basic functions of the hardware and software of the geophysical instrument based on virtual instrument technology are systematically analyzed;the analog signal is processed through geophysical signal modeling and digital filtering.,To analyze the system design parameters;analyze some of the key software and hardware problems that need to be solved urgently in the research and development of geophysical virtual instruments,analyze these problems in detail,and propose basic solutions.The research work takes elastic wave data acquisition and frequency domain electromagnetic data acquisition as examples to carry out the development and practice of geophysical instruments based on virtual instrument technology.Based on the analysis of the two surface wave methods of natural and artificial sources,the structure of the s urface wave exploration virtual instrument system was proposed,the hardware design of the system was completed,and software modules such as signal acquisition,data management,and data processing were developed;prototype tests were carried out,Obtained better data,and verified that the research and development system can effectively record surface wave signals.Based on the analysis of the principle of the method of measuring the imaginary component of the large fixed source loop,a scheme of collect ing the imaginary component of the large fixed source loop was designed,and the hardware and software design of the system was completed.Directly transmit the driving signal as the reference signal for observing the imaginary component,and use the digital phase-locked filtering algorithm to extract the imaginary component,avoiding the hardware complexity caused by the use of sampling coil to introduce the reference signal and amplitude modulation compensation.The basic parameter test was completed with the prototype,which confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness of the large fixed-source loop imaginary component measuring instrument.The development of virtual instruments provides new ideas for the research and development of geophysical instruments.Practical work has shown that the development of geophysical instruments based on virtual instruments has a shorter development cycle than traditional instruments,and has lower R&D,maintenance,and upgrade costs,and has a good application prospect.
