| Circadian rhythm refers to the oscillation of behavior and physiology around 24 hours.It is controlled by the main pacemaker located in the suprachiasmatic nucleus of the hypothalamus,and guides the body’s rhythmic expression of physiological functions and behaviors through a hierarchal system.The circadian rhythm changes in skin physiological parameters have been partially studied.The lipidomics as an important barrier substance of the skin,which has little research on circadian rhythm at the molecular level.And the relationship between physiological parameters and the circadian rhythm of lipidomics is rarely reported.In this study,a systematic and comprehensive analysis method of lipidomics and high-throughput and high-resolution analysis technology to analyze the circadian rhythm of facial skin lipidomics and skin physiological parameters of 35 healthy young female aged 18-25 in Beijing area.At the same time,the correlation in their circadian rhythm changes had been studied.Multivariate statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences in lipid composition in 24 hours.There were 4 main classes lipids(fatty acid,glycerophospholipids,prenol lipids,saccharolipids)and 4 skin physiological parameters(skin moisture measurement value,transepidermal water loss,sebum secretion,skin surface temperature)that show an obvious sinusoidal function periodic circadian rhythm.In addition,the relative abundance of unsaturated fatty acids and the average chain length of ceramide show a trend of periodic circadian rhythm of sinusoidal functions.Further correlation analysis shows that there is a positive correlation between the sebum secretion and transepidermal water loss.There is a positive correlation between the skin surface temperature and transepidermal water loss.There is a positive correlation between skin surface temperature and sebum secretion.There is a negative correlation between fatty acids and skin moisture measurement value.There is a positive correlation between ceramide chain length and skin moisture measurement value.Above results indicate that the physiological parameters of the skin are interrelated and the lipid composition,and the physiological parameters are closely related.The change of the lipid composition may be an important material basis for affecting the circadian rhythm of the physiological parameters of the skin. |
