Solid-to-fluid conversion is very common in nature. The study of the theory of solid-to-fluid conversion involves many disciplines such as heat transfer, engineering thermodynamics, rheology, condensed matter physics, and molecular dynamics. There are few pure substances in nature, and it is common that the solid-liquid transition fluid contains other substances, and the mixture of different substances will affect the solid-to-fluid conversion. Therefore, the solid-to-fluid transformation phenomena containing different substances are studied and summarized. The influence of different substances on the solid-state flow conversion,so as to find the corresponding laws, has become an important issue in the study of solid-to-fluid conversion. This paper mainly includes the following aspects:(1)Through the study of the phase change mechanism of different materials, the mathematical model and parameter identification of some common phase change materials are summarized, and a preliminary understanding of the theory of solidstate flow conversion is obtained.(2)Through the description and derivation of the basic law of heat conduction and the differential equation of heat conduction, the theories of heat transfer involved in the solid-liquid conversion process of ice water are summarized, and there is a certain theoretical guidance for the future research on solid-to-fluid conversion.(3)Through the melting of ice masses with different ethanol mass fractions, the influence of ethanol mass fraction on the ice melting rate was obtained, and relevant experimental data were recorded.Using Excel software, the experimental data were fitted and analyzed, and the mathematical relationship between the melt rate and ethanol mass fraction of the test piece was obtained.(4)The melting rate of the ice body was studied by using different mass fractions of calcium chloride.Origin software was used for fitting analysis of the obtained experimental data. Finally,it was concluded that when the content of calcium chloride was 0.5,better experimental results could be achieved.(5)Use ANSYS finite element analysis software to simulate the experimental results, obtain simulated ice melting rate, compare with the experimental results, and get the internal temperature distribution of the sample cloud and radial and axial temperature of the specimen at different times. The distribution line chart summarizes the melting law of the ice in the cylinder.
