The Yangtze River Economic Belt is an important area of economic development and ecological protection in China, and its important development principle is to "jointly pay attention to large-scale protection and not to engage in large-scale development".With the advance of the construction of ecological civilization in our country,"promoting intensive and efficient production space, moderate livable space and beautiful ecological space" has gradually become the goal and principle of space optimization in our country. In recent years, with the rapid development of urbanization and industrialization in China, the land use changes with each passing day,and the contradiction between human and land is becoming increasingly acute.Today, with the increasing expansion of the scope of human social and economic activities,in order to alleviate the contradiction between the explosive growth of human demand and the increasing tension of land resources and build an ecological civilized society, the most important thing is to improve the efficiency of the use of land resources and promote the rational allocation of land resources. Therefore, this paper takes nine provinces and two cities of the Yangtze River Economic Belt as the study area, selects 107 prefecture-level cities as samples, and firstly determines the classification system of production, living and ecological land on the basis of previous studies. The temporal and spatial variation characteristics of production, living and ecological space in 2005,2010 and 2015 were analyzed.Combined with land use change data and socio-economic data, the ecosystem service functions of 107 prefecture-level cities in the study area were further evaluated.finally, the evaluation index system of the allocation structure efficiency of "production-livingecological land" in this study is established by using land resources, ecosystem service functions and socio-economic data.Further considering the unexpected output factors, the CCR and BCC models in DEA are used to calculate and evaluate the resource allocation structure efficiency of "production-living-ecological land" in the sample city. Finally, this paper analyzes the temporal and spatial change characteristics of provincial units and municipal units, and puts forward policy suggestions to improve the efficiency of the allocation structure of "production-living-ecological land".The main results are as follows:(1)From the perspective of production-living-ecological land, during 2005-2015,due to the rapid development of cities and towns in the Yangtze River Economic Belt, the area of production space dominated by cultivated land continued to decline.the living space area mainly composed of urban construction land and rural residential areas increased rapidly, and the ecological space area also showed a downward trend as a whole.Over the past ten years, the production space area of the Yangtze River economic belt has decreased by 2.06%,the living space area has increased by 28.21%,and the ecological space area has decreased by 0.14%.The cities with significant changes in production space are mainly distributed in the downstream provinces, especially in the Yangtze River Delta, followed by the middle and upper reaches, while the spatial characteristics of the rising proportion of living space are similar. The cities with the increase of ecological space area are in the upstream area and the north of downstream area, while the middle reaches area and the south of downstream area mainly show a downward trend.(2)From the perspective of ecosystem service value, from 2005 to 2015,the ecosystem service value of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River economic belt is greater than that of the middle reaches, and that of the middle reaches is greater than that of the lower reaches. The top three provinces in the total ESV per unit area in 2015 were Hunan Province,Hubei Province and Jiangxi Province, with a total ESV of29057.01 yuan per hectare,26710.05 yuan per hectare and 26042.39 yuan per hectare respectively. The bottom three provinces in ESV are Jiangsu Province,Shanghai Province and Anhui Province, with values of 17387.57 yuan per hectare,13568.12 yuan per hectare and 12735.88 yuan per hectare respectively. There are great differences in the proportion of four types of ESVs among the municipal units in the upper, middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River economic belt. The internal difference of supply service in the downstream region reaches 10%,and the difference of regulation service and support service between cities in the middle and lower reaches reaches 20% and15% respectively, while the overall cultural difference is relatively small, with a maximum of only 3%.(3)From the point of view of the allocation structure efficiency of provincial and municipal units, the Yangtze River economic belt as a whole is on the rise from 2005 to 2015,only TE,PTE and SE are 1 during the study period in Shanghai, and other provincial units are invalid because PTE and SE are not effective at the same time.TE in Zhejiang,Chongqing,Sichuan and Guizhou provinces has been on a downward trend during the decade, falling by 8.3%,17.4%,3.24% and 4.59%,respectively.Yunnan Province,as a growth pole, has an TE growth rate of 18.61% over the past decade, while Hubei Province has also seen a significant increase, with an increase of 10.48%.In 2005,the cities whose comprehensive efficiency of production-living-ecological land allocation structure of municipal units in the Yangtze River economic belt was equal to 1 were mainly concentrated in Shanghai,Wuhan and the periphery of Chongqing, while the spatial agglomeration characteristics were obviously weakened in 2010 and 2015.the role of spatial centrality continues to decline.(4)From the perspective of efficiency optimization path,on the one hand, cities with redundant land investment in production space and ecological space can increase the proportion of living space through land urbanization. On the other hand, these cities can improve the level of economic output by fully attracting capital, talent, technology and labor input.Cities with redundant investment in living space should first strictly control the area of construction land with urban construction land as the core, strengthen the "mining stock" of existing living space to protect and enhance the area of production space and ecological space, and increase the economic and ecological output of production space and ecological space through various policies and measures..
