Efficiency Measurement And Quantile Heterogeneity Analysis Of Digital Economy In Countries Along The Belt And Road Initiative

Digital economy promotes the all-round development of countries along the Digital Silk Road.It plays a huge role in the development of the country's digital economy.China's digital economy has obvious advantages.but it does not mean higher efficiency of digital economy.When China's digital economic efficiency has a significant advantage,it will share digital economic experience with digital economic country,create new value,and provide power to realize "Belt and Road" interconnection cooperation.It is necessary to study the digital economy from a new perspective.In this paper,the three-stage super-efficient SBM model is used to effectively solve the radial and angle problems in the traditional model by introducing external environmental variables,random factors and relaxation variables.At the same time,considering the undesired output,the real measurement value of digital economy efficiency of51 countries along the “the Belt and Road” is obtained.In order to explore the path to improve the efficiency of digital economy,this paper introduces a non-parametric quantile regression model to explore the different roles and influences of the four factors affecting the efficiency of digital economy at different sub-points.The results show that: First,external environmental variables have a certain impact on the digital economy efficiency of countries along the “the Belt and Road”.Considering slack variables and undesired outputs in the three-stage super-efficiency SBM model can measure the actual digital economic efficiency of countries along the “the Belt and Road” more realistically.After removing the influence of external environmental variables,China's digital economy has high efficiency and obvious advantages.Second,the development of digital economy efficiency level in various countries is unbalanced.After removing the influence of external environmental variables,China's digital economy has higher efficiency value and obvious advantages.However,the efficiency level of some countries is close to 0.Third,All factors have a positive effect on the efficiency of digital economy.Economic and manpower factors have a significant impact on the efficiency of digital economy in the belt and road initiative countries,while the infrastructure and openness to the outside world only have significant effects at 0.1 and 0.2 sub-sites.
