Stroke has the characteristics of high disability rate, more than 60%of the stroke patients affected their normal life because of the damage of motor function.Although functional electrical stimulation(FES)is an effective technology applied in the rehabilitation of stroke, the pattern of a group of muscles activation is still challenging research. My research is the optimization of functional electrical stimulation strategy based on the theory of muscle synergy and its application in the rehabilitation of upper limbs for the stroke.Firstly, based on the theory of muscle synergy, this paper designed the method of surface EMG signal for the reconstruction of electrical stimulation pattern.By recording the instantaneous effects of patients under different electrical stimulation strategy,we quantitatively calculate the kinematic results of patients and propose personalized electrical stimulation optimization scheme for different patients. Then,on the basis of the original open-loop electric stimulator,we designed an intelligent electric stimulation training system including motion capture equipment and game module.Patients can trigger electrical stimulation independently to assist them completing the training task of reaching movement of upper limbs. We designed an experiment to explore the potential relationship between trigger conditions and instantaneous effects, and calculated the optimal trigger level for different patients through the acceleration data.Secondly, through clinical intervention experiments,we verify the effectiveness of functional electrical stimulation strategy.Compared with the results of 9 subjects in the 5-day clinical intervention group and 7subjects in the control group,we found that the increase of Fugl-Meyer in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the typical indicators of patients, such as kinematics, muscle pattern, also showed significant improvement. The above research shows that the auxiliary effect of electrical stimulation can be improved by adjusting the parameters of the reconstructed electrical stimulation pattern and the conditions of electrical stimulation triggering, and the clinical effect of functional electrical stimulation in short-term intervention also provides a promising idea for the motor rehabilitation of stroke patients.
