In today's oil and gas exploration,the accurate identification and characterization of reservoirs is a very important process in exploration and development.The channel sand body as a high quality reservoir of oil and gas,it is very difficult to accurately identify and describe due to its low seismic data resolution and complex structure.In this paper,a 3D Steerable Image Transformation method is used to identify and detect channel sand bodies in three-dimensional seismic data.The channel sand body in seismic records in addition to the reflected wave diffraction information also contains discontinuous geological body produced by rich in different scales and directions.In this paper,the image transformation method of Steerable Pyramid is used for accurate identification and fine characterization.On the basis of image pyramids of different scales,this method decomposes each layer into subband information of different directions through controllable direction filter,and then finds the dominant direction to reconstruct the layer information by dimension attribute analysis.Finally,the processed layers are reconstructed by image pyramid.This method can improve the recognition ability of underground multi-scale and multi-directional geological bodies,and show the corresponding geological characteristics in detail and integrity.At the same time,it can provide a strong basis for 3D seismic facies characterization,structural interpretation and reservoir prediction.In order to highlight the effective information and remove other irrelevant information,linear control and threshold constraints are adopted in the direction estimation of 3D Steerable Image Transformation,which can enhance the continuity of geological body and remove part of the noise information to a certain extent.In this paper,the algorithm is applied to actual seismic data on the basis of theoretical model checking,and the feasibility and validity of this method are verified.
