With the rapid development of urbanization in China, the scale of the city continues to expand, people's living standards continue to improve, followed by the air pollution problem is becoming more and more serious. As the main component of air pollution, fine particulate matter also has an important impact on urban environmental quality. Therefore,it is of great theoretical significance and application value to study the influence of the spatial form of urban residential areas on the concentration of fine particulate matter. In this study, from the perspective of mitigating fine particulate pollution, the relationship between the diffusion of fine particulate matter in urban residential areas and the spatial form was discussed, and a set of optimal strategies for the spatial form layout of urban residential areas was developed.Firstly, the basic theories about the characteristics of fine particulate matter and its diffusion characteristics are described. Then, the status quo and characteristics of high-density high-rise residential areas in Hefei were investigated and counted, which were divided into single and mixed high-rise high-density residential areas. On this basis, the scientific nature of the simulation software ENVI-MET was verified by the measured method. Finally, the distribution law of fine particulate matter in urban high-rise and high-density residential areas under the influence of different spatial forms was simulated. From the perspective of spatial morphology of high-rise and high-density urban residential areas, this paper systematically analyzes the concentration distribution of fine particulate matter under different spatial morphology, draws the relationship between spatial morphology of residential areas and the concentration distribution of fine particulate matter, and puts forward corresponding methods and strategies. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The surrounded residential area with the combination of determinant + determinant of high-rise buildings on the northwest side of the site has the strongest diffusion ability for fine particulate matter;(2)For high-rise and high-density residential areas with a single form, determinant has the strongest diffusion ability for fine particulate matter, while diagonal column is slightly weaker, and gable staggered column has the weakest diffusion ability for fine particulate matter.(3)For the mixed high-rise and high-density residential areas, the diffusing ability of fine particulate matter in the enclosed residential areas from strong to weak is row + row, gable misalignment +enclosure, row + enclosure, gable misalignment + column;(4)For mixed high-rise high-density residential areas, the diffusion ability of fine particulate matter in concentrated residential areas from strong to weak is row + gable misalignment, gable misalignment + enclosure, row + enclosure, row + column.(5)In high-rise and high-density urban residential areas, the concentration of fine particulate matter is generally negatively correlated with height, that is,with the increase of height, the concentration of fine particulate matter in the residential area gradually decreases. In this paper, the distribution characteristics of spatial form of urban high-rise high-density residential areas were analyzed in combination with architectural layout, and the simulation study of fine particulate matter was carried out on typical high-rise high-density residential modules. In order to improve the environmental quality of high-rise high-density residential areas, the design methods of spatial form of residential areas were summarized. The research method, technical route and research results of this paper provide important guiding significance and reference value for the study of the relationship between the spatial form of high-rise and high-density urban residential areas and the distribution of fine particulate matter in residential environment, and establish a research foundation for improving the environmental quality of high-rise and high-density urban residential areas.Figure [47] table [30] reference [61]...
