Biodiversity protection is one of the work of nature protection, and species protection is an important part of biodiversity protection. The protection of rare and endangered species is currently the most successful aspect of human nature protection, and habitat evaluation is the basis of wildlife protection.Understanding the relationship between suitable habitats for species distribution and environmental factors is of great significance to species protection.Inner Mongolia is located in the north of my country, bordering Mongolia and Russia in the north, with a long and narrow border, and most of the rare and endangered species are distributed near the border between China and Mongolia.Six species of rare and endangered ungulates in central and western Inner Mongolia are selected as the research objects.Based on field surveys, infrared camera deployment and literature review, combined with 3S technology, the vegetation type, vegetation coverage, water source point, altitude, slope, and aspect 8factors,roads,and residential areas are used as evaluation factors, and then fuzzy comprehensive evaluation is used to assign values to each influencing factor. Finally, the analytic hierarchy process is used to comprehensively evaluate the suitability of the habitat to obtain the size of the influencing factors that affect the distribution of species, and to explore rare and endangered The relationship between habitat selection of ungulate species and environmental factors. The results of the study show that water source is an important factor affecting six ungulate species.Secondly, human factors have a greater impact on ungulates.Vegetation types and vegetation coverage have a greater impact on yellow sheep, which affects the habitat of other species. The impact is small;slope and altitude factors have a greater impact on argali, ibex and rock sheep, but less on yellow sheep;slope aspect has less impact on ungulates.Based on the evaluation results, several suggestions are put forward:(1)Remove some net fences or establish wild animal passages to promote exchanges between species;(2)On the basis of strengthening the protection of water sources, add artificial water sources;(3)It is strictly prohibited.Excessive grazing,to delineate reserved habitats for rare and endangered ungulate species;(4)Set up road signs and install speed bumps to reduce road damage to rare and endangered ungulate species.
