LVDS technology is a low-amplitude differential signal technology and a kind of signal transmission mode which has many advantages such as high speed,strong anti-noise and low power consumption.It has high-efficiency data transmission capabilities and it can maintain its own good characteristics for data communication within and between systems.The research background of this thesis is the underwater streamer transmission system and its main goal is to achieve data communication between adjacent nodes in the streamer system.According to the system indicators and system characteristics,this study uses the FPGA as the node for processing and transmitting data and the high-speed and long-distance communication between nodes is realized by LVDS technology.The main contents of the paper are as follows:1.According to the characteristics of the marine streamer system and the technical indicators of the system,it is established that the entire transmission system adopts a ring network topology,the nodes communicate with each other in LVDS,and the nodes and digital hydrophones adopt MLVDS communication.2.The 8B/10B and 64B/66B encoding and decoding methods commonly used in high-speed data communication are studied.The two encoding methods are simulated using software,and the8B/10B encoding and decoding are finally applied to the actual circuit system.3.This paper studies and compares various methods and structures of CDR and uses the multi-phase clock oversampling method to implement clock and data recovery on FPGA according to the characteristics of the system transmission structure.4.This paper establishes a test platform to complete LVDS communication experiments between nodes and MLVDS communication experiments between nodes and digital hydrophones.Finally,when the communication rates between the nodes are 100Mbps,150Mbps,200Mbps and225Mbps,the two-hour bit error rate of the data stream communication is smaller than 10-9.At the same time,when the communication rate between the node and the digital hydrophone is 20Mbps,30Mbps,40Mbps,50Mbps and 60Mbps,the two-hour bit error rate of the data stream communication is smaller than 10-9.
