Direction of arrival estimation(DOA)and underwater target tracking are important research directions in underwater acoustic signal processing.This paper focuses on the beamforming of underwater acoustic signals,the processing of outliers of underwater target observation data,and target azimuth tracking.The main contents are:(1)The basic principles of beamforming and direction of arrival estimation(DOA)are discussed.An array signal model was established,and conventional beamforming algorithms and beamforming methods based on minimum variance and distortion-free response were discussed.For isolated outliers,the Laida criterion,Grubbs criterion,and improved Laida method were studied.Simulation analysis and comparison of the performance of two DOA estimation algorithms and the performance of three outlier processing algorithms.(2)Research on the elimination of outliers in the measurement data of underwater moving targets.For speckle-type outliers,an outlier processing method based on difference and extrapolation fitting is studied to improve the performance of speckle-type outlier processing;an outlier processing method based on target motion characteristics is proposed,and outlier parameters are discussed The impact on the processing performance of the algorithm;for the mixed outliers with both isolated and speckle outliers,a processing method to separate the isolated and speckle outliers in a step-by-step manner was studied.The simulation verifies the outlier processing performance of each algorithm.(3)Study the azimuth tracking of underwater moving targets.Based on the interactive multi-model(IMM)algorithm,the azimuth tracking of maneuvering targets combined with interactive multi-model and tracking pre-detection is studied;the research proposes the weak combination of multi-frame data tracking pre-detection and track optimization The target tracking method effectively achieves target azimuth tracking and outlier processing under low signal-to-noise ratio;the study proposes a multi-frame spatial spectrum cumulative target tracking method based on variable step size to achieve effective tracking of maneuvering targets.The simulation verifies the performance of the above algorithm.
