As an important part of highway traffic volume,highway freight volume is the key and difficult point in traffic statistics.Due to the limitation of the traditional sampling survey method of road traffic volume,there are many problems in the statistical work of road freight volume,and there are many doubts about the statistical data of road freight volume from all sectors of society.How to calculate the traffic volume of highway goods scientifically and reasonably has always been a concern in the academic circle and the industry.This paper discusses the method of balanced sampling design considering spatial information,which can improve the estimation accuracy of cargo transportation,accurately grasp the development characteristics of road cargo transportation,and better promote the high-quality development of transportation industry and the realization of the goal of building a powerful country in transportation.As one of the "four major projects" proposed by the national bureau of statistics,a set of table of highway transportation enterprises is the innovation of the production mode of highway transportation statistical data,which can provide new data source for highway transportation statistics.It is of great practical significance to make full use of the data directly reported by the network of highway transportation enterprises to carry out statistical analysis of highway freight traffic.Therefore,based on a set of tables of transportation enterprises,this paper conducts a research on the sampling survey method of volume of road freight.This paper firstly starts from the domestic and foreign research status of statistical investigation of highway freight traffic,analyzes the problems faced by statistical investigation of freight traffic and the problems existing in the statistical investigation system of a set of tables of transportation enterprises,on this basis,expounds the relevant basic theories of spatial equilibrium sampling design.Secondly,the paper makes a spatial statistical analysis of the traffic volume of road freight enterprises above the scale,studies the spatial differentiation characteristics of the traffic volume of road freight enterprises above the scale,and demonstrates the importance and necessity of improving the sampling survey method of road freight volume.Finally,taking the road transport enterprises above the scale of C province in a set of direct reporting system of network of transportation enterprises as the research object,this paper discusses the sampling method of spatial balance of highway freight transport volume,and puts forward some Suggestions on the sampling survey method of highway freight transport volume.The results show that the total volume of freight transport,the volume of freight transport by vehicle and the volume of freight transport by tonnage are a significant positive correlation in space.The positive spatial correlation and spatial agglomeration of the volume of goods transported by vehicle and by tonnage are more obvious than the total volume of goods transported.The sampling design method of spatial information should be considered to improve the estimation accuracy of the highway freight volume when designing the sampling survey plan.The empirical analysis shows that the cube method with the number of vehicles and the number of marked tonnage as auxiliary variables and the spatial double balanced sampling method with the number of vehicles,the number of marked tonnage and the coordinates of longitude and latitude as auxiliary variables are used in the sampling of highway freight enterprises.The accuracy of estimating the quantity of goods transported by road transport enterprises above the scale is higher than that of traditional sampling method,and the overall stability of extrapolating from samples is also better than that of traditional sampling method.
