The protection of Aquatic Biodiversity is of great significance for the health maintenance of river basin water ecosystem. This study takes the Major River Basin In Inner Mongolia as the research area,Aquatic Biodiversity as research object.By means of local records, data collection and field investigation.Based on the ? biodiversity index of rivers and lakes systems in the basin.Maked the initial evaluation of Aquatic Biodiversity in the Major River Basin in Inner Mongolia. The composition and characteristics of the biodiversity of the main stream, tributaries and lakes of the Major River Basin in Inner Mongolia were clarified. The existing problems and key points of biodiversity protection in Inner Mongolia were determined.Furthermore, suggestions on the protection and restoration of aquatic biodiversity in the Major River Basin in Inner Mongolia are put forwar. The results of this study are as follows:(1)The results of biological survey showed that 697 species of hydrobiont has bing surveyed in Huanghe River Basin.Including 58 species of fish.67 species of aquatic plants.139 species of zoobenthos.23 species of amphibians and reptile.179 species of birds.10 species of submerged macrophytes and 231 species of phytoplankton and zooplankton. And 116 protected species has being surveyed, accounting for 16.64% of the total aquatic species.485 species of hydrobiont has bing surveyed in Liaohe River Basin.Including 40 species of fish.76 species of aquatic plants.24 species of zoobenthos.28 species of amphibians and reptile.167 species of birds.153 species of phytoplankton and zooplankton. There were 102 protected species has being surveyed, accounting for 20.0% of the total aquatic species.917 species of hydrobiont has bing surveyed in Songhuajiang River Basin.Including 70 species of fish.93 species of aquatic plants.158 species of zoobenthos.35 species of amphibians and reptile.328 species of birds.233 species of phytoplankton and zooplankton. There were 148 protected species has being surveyed, accounting for 12.1% of the total aquatic species.479 species of hydrobiont has bing surveyed in Songhuajiang River Basin.Including 73 species of fish.76 species of aquatic plants.76 species of zoobenthos.12 species of amphibians and reptile.92 species of birds.153 species of phytoplankton and zooplankton. There were 58 protected species has being surveyed.232 species of hydrobiont has bing surveyed in the Inland River Basin.Including 17 species of fish.55 species of aquatic plants.26 species of zoobenthos.23 species of amphibians and reptile.16 species of birds.95 species of phytoplankton and zooplankton. There were 36 protected species has being surveyed, accounting for 15.51% of the total aquatic species.(2)The study of ? biodiversity index has been obtained in the mainstream and the tributary river of The Major River Basin in Inner Mongolia. The basin with the highest biodiversity index was Wuliangsuhai Lake,Daihai Lake has the second highest biodiversity index.Mainstream of Huanghe River has the highest biodiversity index in the Huanghe River Basin. In the Liaohe River Basin, the Xiliaohe River Basin has the highest biodiversity index. In the Songhuajiang River Basin, the Kelun river has the highest biodiversity index. In the Haihe River Basin, the Luanhe River has a higher biodiversity index than the other. In the Inland River Basin, the Xilinhe River has the highest biodiversity index.(3)Combined with basin water quality monitoring,The main problems of Aquatic Biodiversity in the Major River Basin In Inner Mongolia are analyzed, and the key tasks and measures of biodiversity protection are proposed. The research results will providing a theoretical basis for the protection of aquatic biodiversity in the Major River Basin In Inner Mongolia.
