The Jiaodong region of Shandong Province in eastern China lies in the eastern half of the Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt.The Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt is the collision boundary between the North China Plate and the Yangtze Plate,and is a hotspot for studying important geological issues such as plate convergence,plate kinematics and dynamics,and crust-mantle interaction.Previous studies have been in the fields of petrology,structural geology,isotope geochemistry,etc.,relied mainly on surface observations and sampling,so the current understandings of deep structures still have uncertainty.The fault zone in this area is considered by many scholars to be the northern boundary of the Sulu metamorphic zone,and some scholars believe that it is the collision boundary between the North China Plate and the Yangtze Plate.But these arguments are still controversial.Based on a large number of regional geological data,this research carried out deep geophysical(two-dimensional seismic)exploration in cooperation with basic geological surveys.Based on the deep structure of the fault zone,it tried to reveal the structural attributes of the metamorphic basement in Jiaodong area.The thesis aim at discussing the specific location of the boundary between the North China Plate and the Yangzi Plate,and exploring the mineralization of the continental.Geologists have made a series of discoveries on the characteristics of the Dabie-Sulu orogenic belt,and proposed some models for the process of collisional orogeny.This study collects and sorts out existing geological data and previous research results,and focuses on consulting the latest relevant scientific literature for comprehensive analysis to understand the characteristics of deposition and tectonic evolution.Based on previous research results,the thesis constructs regional tectonic model and deduces tectonic evolution.According to the characteristics both of the underground structure and deep reflection signals,the seismic data is processed by attributes analysis,time-frequency analysis and other methods.Combined with the geological data and other geophysical information,the interpretation strives to construct the underground structural model,and deduce the history of geological evolution.The obtained high-quality 20-second seismic reflection profile across the fault zone provides important information of deep structures in Jiaodong area.Through the integration of processing and interpretation and combining the geological results of predecessors,we are acquainted with the four main fault characteristics,and the distribution of the main stratigraphic units.The study obtained the deep structure model of Laiyang-Haiyang area,and the understanding of the specific location of the collision boundary between the North China plate and the Yangzi plate,and provided a reference for determining the geological evolution of the Sulu orogenic belt in Jiaodong area.
