In the soft X-ray band, spectra analysis technology, in the air and space exploration,inertial confinement fusion, laser-plasma diagnostics, materials science, synchrotronradiation, soft X-ray metrology and other advanced science and technology, plays a veryimportant role. However, Dante spectrometer mainly used in radiation driven inertialconfinement fusion research is based on diffraction grating principle of soft X-rayspectrometer. So, the high-order harmonic pollution not only influences the Dantespectrometer calibration process, but also influences the accuracy of Dante spectrometerenergy channel. Used in synchrotron radiation, free-electron laser, and the betatron Xlight sources based on laser plasma, the accuracy of monochromator or spectrometer isnot only limed by high-order harmonic pollution, but also, the cost of the optics isincreased much, the operation become more complex and the utilization efficiency ofX-ray source is much lower. Thus, people have to seek a more convenient technique andoptics to solve the above problems.One of solutions is the application of the Fresnel zone plate. The Center of LaserFusion, CAEP, Caolei Feng’s team developed the binarization Fresnel zone plate andspectroscopy photon sieve based on the Gabor zone plate principle. But, this Fresnelzone plate’s focus spot size is not only limited by the outermost zone micromachininglevel, also limited by the volume diffraction effects,10nm minimum spatial resolutionlimit. And then, our proposed solution is the single focus spot soft X-ray reflection zoneplate. This zone plate bases on newly forefront of elliptical reflective zone plate theory,and two innovative binarization methods this paper proposed, which arequasi-random-array method and spectroscopy sieve method. Furthermore, choosingoff-axis part of the zone plate, it makes this reflective zone plate have dispersion,focusing, eliminating zero-order diffraction and high harmonics features.Detailed analysis of scalar diffraction theory, the principle of the diffraction grating,the higher harmonic pollution problems are discussed, in particularly, the introductionof Fresnel zone plates and Gabor zone plate in contrast to the elliptical reflective zoneplate. To do so is to lead to the zone plate or grating binarization techniques. To studythe details of "black and white" reflective zone plate diffraction characteristics, wedeveloped a simulation program using MATLAB to study the high-order harmonicpollution problems and the three outstanding characteristics, which are the rejection to zero order diffraction, focusing and high spectral resolution features. This paperpresents two binarization methods of theoretical knowledge. And then, we developedtwo special programs with the MATLAB to design and simulate quasi-random arraybinarization reflective zone plate and spectroscopy photon sieve binarization reflectivezone plate. We have verify that the two binarization methods not only maintain theoriginal characteristics, but also have another new characteristic, which is efficientinhibition of the of high-order harmonics.In order to experimentally verify the spectroscopy photon sieve binarization RZP’scharacteristic of inhibition of high-order harmonics, we designed a100-zone"simplified" reflective zone plate and the experimental optical path. Also, we verifiedthe experimental optical path using Shadow.
