Research On Interesting Questions Of Russian Mathematical Olympiad

Interest and novelty are important characteristics of modern mathematics Olympiad questions,just like intellectuality and selectivity,which worth focusing on for those who set up questions.Questions full of interest can stimulate students' delights in learning and prevent the utilitarian tendency of Mathematical Olympiad.The traditional mode of Olympiad mathematics learning in our country pays more attention to its function of selection.Although the Chinese national team has achieved great success in international competitions,most of questions in our country,whether it is in the league or in the final,are mainly composed of symbolic language,which lacks interest.As a strong country in the Mathematical Olympiad,Russia has been recognized by the academic circles for its high quality of questions.In the last three years of the International Mathematical Olympiad,the Russian team has also achieved good results year after year.The most notable thing is that every year in the Russian Mathematical Olympiad,many highly innovative and interesting questions emerge.They have very distinctive features and are of high research value.However,due to various reasons,there is not much literature on Russian Mathematical Olympiad in our country.I hope this article can arouse more people of insight to pay attention to the Russian Mathematical Olympiad and provide some inspiration for the improvement of our country's Mathematical Olympiad.If the excellent tradition of our country's Mathematical Olympiad can be organically combined with the successful experience of Russia,the Olympiad will no longer be a "scourge",but will become an excellent platform to show the charm of mathematics.Using the method of literature analysis,this article first introduces some features of the Russian Mathematical Olympiad's competition system and questions,especially the preference of Russian experts for interesting questions.For these interesting questions,we have counted them in the Russian Mathematical Olympiad from 1993 to 2020,showing the trend of the number of interesting questions in the Russian Mathematical Olympiad and the hot issues of question types.Next,we have selected the three types of interesting questions that have appeared most frequently in the Russian Olympic Games in recent years:weighing scales,"knights and rogues",and two-player game problems,and introduced their contents,types and solutions respectively.Finally,based on Russian's successful experience in applying interesting questions in the Mathematical Olympiad,such as conveying the humanistic spirit,focusing on historical inheritance,and making use of the perfect competition system,we summarized some of the enlightenment it provides to the development of our country's Mathematical Olympiad:?
