Allium galanthum is a perennial wild herb of the genus Allium and a wild relative of onion.At present,studies have shown that Allium galanthum leaf litter promotes the germination of oil cabbage and cabbage seeds,and inhibits the germination of wheat;it has a low-promoting and high-suppressing effect on the germination of onion,lettuce,turnip,chickpea,tomato,and cucumber seeds."The double effect.In China,Allium galanthum only grows in Xinjiang,and soil salinization and drought are the main characteristics of Xinjiang's ecological environment and climate.In order to understand the allelopathy change characteristics under salt and drought stress,explore the utilization value of Allium galanthum in agricultural cultivation system,and screen the economic crops suitable for intercropping with Allium galanthum.In order to provide the basis for the rational use of salinized and arid soil and the selection of suitable rotation and stubble cultivation system.In order to understand the characteristics of Allelopathy of Allium galanthum after salt stress,the Allelopathy of Allium galanthum was treated by irrigation with NaCl and pot application of NaCl.First,lettuce,carrot,celery,cucumber,cowpea and pepper were treated by seed germination.The process and data of seed germination and seedling growth were observed and recorded.Then the decomposition method was used to treat the tested materials: pepper seedlings,to explore the changes of morphological and physiological indexes of pepper.The effect of NaCl stress on Allelopathy of Allium galanthum was deduced.The results are as follows(1)The water extracts of different parts of Allium galanthum after NaCl stress have different allelopathy effects on the seed germination and sprout growth of vegetables.As the stress concentration increases,the water extracts of leaf sheaths and roots have different effects on vegetable seed germination and sprout growth.The inhibitory effect of vegetable seed germination and sprout growth was enhanced,and the inhibitory effect of leaf sheath> root;while the promoting effect of leaf water extract was enhanced.NaCl stress caused changes in the types and concentrations of allelochemicals in different parts of Allium galanthum,resulting in different allelopathy effects,which promoted or inhibited seed germination and sprout growth to different degrees.The results of the study showed that the intercropping mode of Allium galanthum and pepper can be selected in the salty environment.(2)Allium galanthum after mild stress can promote the growth of pepper plant height,stem thickness and leaf size.Chlorophyll,carotenoids,root vitality,glutamate dehydrogenase,catalase,and peroxidase decomposed substances of Allium galanthum after NaCl stress increased by 2.65%,8.66%,28.94%,respectively,26.57%,10.45%,11.62%.Compared with the control,the relative reduction of malondialdehyde was 39.32%.The decomposed substances of Allium galanthum after drought stress affect the growth of peppers on the growth,photosynthesis,nutrient metabolism and enzyme activities of antioxidant systems.The allelopathy of Allium galanthum under mild and moderate NaCl stress can promote the growth of peppers.In order to understand the effects of drought stress on Allium galanthum allelopathy,PEG and water control stress were used to treat Allium galanthum.First use the seed germination method to process the test materials: lettuce,carrot,celery,cucumber,cowpea,pepper.Observe and record the process and data of seed germination and sprout growth.Then use the decomposed substance method to treat the test material:pepper seedlings to explore the morphological and physiological indicators of pepper.Therefore,the influence of drought stress on the allelopathy of Allium galanthum was deduced.The results are as follows:(3)As Allium galanthum is exposed to drought stress,the influence on the germination of the test material seeds changes.The leaf water extract has a significant promoting effect on the growth of lettuce,carrot,cucumber,cowpea and pepper.The leaf sheath water extract has a promoting effect on celery,and the root water extract has a promoting effect on pepper.Drought stress leads to changes in the types and concentrations of allelochemicals in different parts of Allium galanthum,resulting in different allelopathy effects,thereby promoting or inhibiting seed germination and sprout growth to different degrees.The results of the study indicate that the intercropping mode of Allium galanthum and pepper can be selected in arid environment.(4)The root vitality,glutamate dehydrogenase,total chlorophyll,and catalase of pepper reached the maximum in the decomposing matrix of scallion after moderate drought stress,which increased by 47%,9%,and respectively compared with the control.7 %,44 %.Carotenoids,peroxidase,and ascorbate peroxidase reached the maximum in Allium galanthum decomposed matrix after mild drought stress,increasing by 9%,106%,and 34% respectively compared with the control.Malondialdehyde was reduced by 38% and 21% in the decomposed matrix of Allium galanthum after mild and moderate drought stress,respectively.The decomposed substances of Allium galanthum after drought stress will affect the growth of peppers on photosynthesis,nutrient metabolism and enzyme activities of antioxidant systems.The allelopathy of Allium galanthum can promote the growth of peppers under mild and moderate drought conditions.
