Located in the northeastern part of Ordos Basin,Jungar coalfield is one of the main coal resource mining bases in China. The mines in the area are mainly located in the carboniferous-Permian system, and under the influence of hydrogeological conditions, its underlying Cambrian-Ordovician karst water is a direct water-filled layer, and the influence of karst water damage on mine safety production is very serious.Meanwhile, influenced by monsoon climate and topography, the study area has an arid climate, scarce rainfall and shortage of water resources, and the karst water system is closely related to the ecological environment of plants and animals, human daily life and industrial and agricultural water use in the area. Therefore,it is important to identify the hydrogeochemical characteristics of karst water in the Cambrian-Ordovician karst water in the Jungar coalfield,to clarify the significance of karst water system in the water cycle,to explore the sources of karst water chemical components,to provide a certain basis for further investigation of hydrogeological conditions in the study area, and to provide guidance for the prevention and control of karst water damage in the coalbeds and the protection and utilization of karst groundwater resources in the study area.It is important to guide the prevention and control of karst water damage and the conservation and utilization of karst groundwater resources in the study area. This paper takes the Cambrian-Ordovician karst water in the Jungar coalfield as the research object, and collects karst water samples and rock samples of karst aquifers in the study area on the basis of fully collecting and analyzing historical information on the hydrogeological conditions of the study area, and identifies the characteristics of the karst water chemical components in the Jungar coalfield by calculating and analyzing the basic physical properties, water chemical ion components and isotopic data of the karst water samples, analyzes the main influencing factor as water-rock The main anion and cation sources in karst water were identified, and the formation of "low mineralization and high chloride ion" in karst area was determined to be caused by the long-term dissolution and filtration of salt-rich rock minerals from the Ordovician Majiagou Formation. The sources of karst water recharge in the study area were analyzed as atmospheric precipitation and Yellow River water lateral seepage recharge, and the proportional relationship between atmospheric precipitation and Yellow River water lateral seepage recharge to karst water was quantified by using the isotopic characteristics of different water bodies. The karst water chemistry characteristics were combined to redefine the scope of karst water recharge, runoff, stagnation and discharge zones in the study area, establish a conceptual model of karst water chemistry evolution, and grasp the formation mechanism and evolution law of water chemistry components in the process of karst water runoff. This study has certain significance for the identification of mine water sources and water damage prevention and control in various mines in the Jungar coalfield.
