The small plant peptide hormones are a class of small molecular substances extracted from plants,playing important roles in growth and development of plants.Genome sequencing of arabidopsis,a representative plant,and studies of related small peptide hormones have made further research in the fields of grain production,crop resistance,and environmental protection.Experiments have shown that glycosylation of small peptides is essential for their maturation and different degrees of glycosylation modification have signigficant effects on their activities.CLAVATA3(CLV3)peptide in arabidopsis is a classical small peptide with clear in vivo biochemical and genetic properties.However,to date,due to the difficulty in the synthesis of carbohydrate compounds,there is no complete synthesis service for the synthesis of glycosylated plant small peptides in China,which limits the molecular mechanism study of glycosylation in receptor recognition.Currently,the only reported chemical synthetic route for glycosylated small peptide CLV3 abroad,which cannot meet the requirement for further study due to the complicated process and low yields.Therefore,it is of great importance to investigate the chemical synthesis of glycosylated CLV3 peptide.It has been demonstrated that the seventh hydroxyproline site is triarabinosylated in the mature CLV3 peptide.In this dissertation,the corresponding CLV3 peptide glycosylation precursor is selected as the target molecule.Starting with L-(+)-arabinose,through design and optimization of the synthetic route the targeted CLV3 peptide glycosylation precursor is successfully synthsized over sixteen steps.Further studies suggested that this glycosylation precursor could be used for the synthesis of the corresponding glycosylated small plant peptide hormone.
