Scientists'research on lasers started with the birth of the first ruby laser in 1960,which gave birth to an important subject,nonlinear optics.With in-depth research on it,nonlinear optical materials and applications have penetrated into all aspects of people's lives.It gradually has become a craze to explore new nonlinear materials.WO3 and GO have excellent physical and chemical properties,which have wide applyments in the fields of optics,electrical,and nonlinear optics.Therefore,this paper adopts the hydrothermal method to prepare nanocomposites of WO3 and GO,then studies the nonlinear optical properties of the two composites.First we simply decompose ammonium tungstate into light yellow tungsten trioxide powder through heating and decomposition in this paper.Then use the hydrothermal method to compound tungsten trioxide and graphene oxide into graphene oxide-tungsten trioxide nanocomposite(GO-WO3).And the morphology of the product was characterized by transmission electron microscope(TEM)and scanning electron microscope(SEM);X-ray diffractometer(XRD),Ultraviolet–visible spectrophotometry(UV-Vis),Raman spectrometer(Raman),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR)were used to characterize the structure of the product;Finally,a Z-Scan tester(Z-Scan)was used to test the nonlinear optical performance of the product.From the above test results,it is found that GO-WO3 nanocomposite has good three-photon absorption(3PA)and four-photon absorption(4PA)nonlinear optical performance under very weak light intensity(I0=10.4GW/cm2).With the increase of WO3 content,its nonlinear optical performance changes from reverse saturated absorption to saturated absorption.According to the analysis of experimental data,after adding a proper amount of WO3,the nonlinear absorption coefficient of the sample increased significantly,Which indicates that the addition of WO3 can enhance the nonlinear optical and optical limiting properties of the sample.GO-WO3 nanocomposite is a non-linear optical material with good optical effects,which can be safely used in various military and medical fields.
