The nonlinear optics is developing rapidly, and it has been applied in many fields of optical communication, optical storage, photoelectric sensor, laser weapons and so on. Such as optical limiter, optical switch, optical logic devices, optical modulator et al.. The rapid development of nonlinear optics also puts forward new requirements for the nonlinear optical materials, many excellent nonlinear optical properties of the materials have been found, such as fullerenes, carbon nanotubes, graphene materials etc.. Among them, graphene has a lot of advantages in physical properties because carbon atom structure is single, such as high conductivity, high transparency and ultrafast optical response, so it has attracted more and more attention in the three order nonlinear optical response. However, graphene is not easy to disperse in a solvent which is the negative side in its research and application. Through the research we have found that there are many materials which have similar structures with grapheme, such as, graphene oxide, it has also a single layer arranged of carbon atoms, in addition, abundant oxygen-containing functional groups in the surrounding of the carbon atoms layer. Because of the characteristics of its material structure, graphene oxide often also has some properties similar with graphene or even better. Usually we classify this as graphene material which has a similar structure with graphene. Due to the structure characteristics of graphene oxide, it has some similar or better characteristics. For example, graphene oxide can be dispersed well in water, alcohol and other solvents. Therefore it has become a hot research direction. Graphene oxide can be dispersed uniformly in the solvent due to the electrostatic force between the oxygen functional groups, and a large number of functional groups can provide a way for its composite with other materials. For this reason, we will focus on the study of graphene with similar structure of the material, in order to explore the nature of this kind of material further, and look for better means for its application. In order to enrich our research process, the composite of graphene oxide and other materials was successfully implemented, and the evidence of the chemical link between nano silver wire and graphene oxide nano materials was given with experimental data. And the nonlinear optical properties of the composite material were studied. This paper has directive significance to the study of graphene oxide and its composite. This paper mainly includes several aspects as shown below:1. The high degree of oxidation of graphene oxide was prepared according to an improved Hammer method.2. X-ray diffraction experiment(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), atomic force microscopy(AFM) and Raman spectrometer were used for the characterization of the material samples, and the process of preparation, different amount of oxidant Potassium Permanganate caused different degree of oxidation of GO, were discussed.3. Different reduction time with ascorbic acid(VC) would lead to the reduction of different degree. X-ray diffraction experiment(XRD), Transmission electron electron microscope(TEM), ultraviolet visible spectrophotometer(UV-vis), and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analyzer(FT-IR) were used for the characterization of the material samples. We used Z-scanning systems for nonlinear test on graphene oxide in different levels of reduction with VC. The test results showed that the nonlinear refractive index increases with the increase of reduction degree, and we analyzed the reason of improvement in the third order optical nonlinearity caused by the reduction of GO level.5. The nano silver wire was surface modified with polyvinyl pyrrolidone. And water soluble graphene composited silver nanowire material was prepared in situ reduction. The material was dispersed well in water which is conducive to the further research and application. X ray diffraction experiment(XRD), ultraviolet visible spectrophotometer(UV-vis), scanning electron microscope(SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy analyzer(FT-IR) were used for the characterization of the material samples. Results proved that the composite between silver nanowire and the reduction of graphene oxide.6. We used Z-scanning systems for nonlinear test on the silver nanowire composited materials, results had shown a significant increase in the nonlinear absorption, and we analyzed the reason.
