Objective: Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women all over the world. Some breast cancers express androgen receptor(AR),which is a steroid receptor and belongs to the nuclear receptor family, which plays an important role in the carcinogenesis of breast cancer. However, there are differences in the expression of androgen receptor in patients with breast cancer, and the relationship between androgen receptor and clinical prognosis remains to be clarified. Methods: Oncomine,Cancer Cell Mutation Catalogue(COSMIC),UALCAN database and human protein atlas(HPA)database are comprehensive tumor gene databases. These databases are used for data mining and analysis of androgen receptor and its co-expressed genes, and the mutation types of androgen receptor genes are analyzed by cancer cell mutation catalogue.Bc-Gen Ex Miner database is used to screen androgen receptor co-expressed genes, and to draw the survival curve of the relationship between the difference of androgen receptor expression and the overall survival rate in different types of breast cancer. Results: We found that the high expression of androgen receptors was associated with a worse prognosis in patients with hormone receptor positive Luminal type breast cancer. In addition, androgen receptor co-expressed genes are associated with worse prognosis and may be associated with androgen receptor biological signaling pathways. Conclusion: The expression of androgen receptor and its coexpression genes may be an important prognostic indicator and potential drug target for patients with breast cancer.
