Respiratory rhythm plays a key role in regulating the respiratory movements of organisms.Under pathological conditions,the organism will exhibit various abnormal respiratory rhythm changes.Studies have found that the pre-B(?)tzinger complex(pre-BotC)in the mammalian brain stem region contains neurons that play a key role in the formation of respiratory rhythms.Scientists have established a series of pre-BotC neuron dynamics models by considering chemical and physiological conditions such as ion movement inside and outside the cell membrane.However,lives are always in a magnetic field,and there are no exception for neurons.Therefore,it is necessary to introduce magnetic flux into the pre-BotC neuron model.Bifurcation is an important tool for nonlinear dynamical research.Bifurcation analysis can determine the changes in qualitative characteristics of the dynamic system as parameters change.These bifurcation parameters and the qualitative characteristics of the system often have practical significance.Based on the Park and Rubin model,we consider the dynamic effects of magnetic flow and external forcing current on the neural bursting in the pre-BotC.We use dynamic methods such as numerical simulation,separation of fast and slow variables,and bifurcation analysis to study different bursting patterns of neurons in the pre-BotC:somatic bursting(S bursting),which depends on the persistent sodium current,and somatic-dendritic bursting(S-D bursting),which relies on both the persistent sodium current and Ca2+ oscillations in the dendrites.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.The second chapter introduces the background knowledge related to the research content of this article.The third chapter firstly studies the effect of the external current on the mixed bursting patterns of pre-BotC neurons(a special type of the S-D bursting),and then studies the effect of the magnetic flux on the mixed bursting patterns.Such problems have not been considered in previous literatures.Chapter 4 studies the influence of magnetic flux on the S bursting pattern in the model in Chapter 3.The research shows that magnetic flux can change the S bursting types of neurons in the pre-BotC.The last chapter is the summary and prospect.
