In recent years,the trend of global warming has become increasingly prominent,which has caused a series of ecological and environmental problems such as glaciers melting,sea level rise,and species diversity challenges.The continuous increase of greenhouse gas emissions is an important factor leading to the above problems.the reason.Based on this,the issue of climate change has received widespread attention from all countries in the world.The United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC)has issued a series of programmatic documents to promote global greenhouse gas reduction efforts,of which in October 2018 the special report issued clearly stated that "net-zero emissions" should be reached around 2050.In order to achieve this goal,countries urgently need to vigorously develop the low-carbon economy and accelerate the pace of carbon emission reduction.As an important industrial sector of the national economy,animal husbandry,while providing humans with meat,eggs,milk and other products needed for daily life,its production process also results in a large number of greenhouse gas emissions.For this reason,the issue of carbon emissions from animal husbandry has attracted more and more scholars' attention.It is imperative to accelerate the low-carbon transformation of animal husbandry production.As a major province for animal husbandry production,Hubei Province is well-known in the country for hogs,poultry and special animal breeding,but the carbon emissions caused by it cannot be underestimated.In view of this,this article will conduct a systematic study on the issue of animal husbandry carbon emissions in Hubei Province,with a view to providing necessary reference for accelerating the low-carbon production of animal husbandry.Specifically,this paper firstly scientifically constructed a measurement index system based on systematically combing existing relevant literature and completed an effective measurement of the carbon emissions of animal husbandry in Hubei Province.Depth analysis of time series evolution and spatial differentiation characteristics in different dimensions.Then,based on the existing calculation results,the LMDI model was used to decompose the driving factors of animal husbandry carbon emissions from the perspective of economy,efficiency,structure,and population.Interrelationships between development.Finally,on the basis of learning from the advanced experience and practices of low-carbon production in the animal husbandry industry abroad,a series of helpful suggestions have been put forwardfrom various aspects such as the application of animal husbandry production technology,the scientific treatment of animal manure,and the improvement of the quality of livestock workers.Suggestions for the low carbon production of animal husbandry in Hubei Province.Through the above system research,the following conclusions are mainly obtained:(1)The total carbon emissions of animal husbandry in Hubei Province is increasing,and its intensity is decreasing year by year;Specifically,the carbon emissions caused by all types of livestock,sheep,pigs and poultry are all Increasing year by year,but the carbon emissions caused by cattle have shown a downward trend.There is a clear spatial difference in the total amount of carbon emissions and the intensity of animal husbandry in each city and state.Based on the differences in the composition of carbon emissions,17 regions can be divided into cattle breeding,pig breeding,mixed breeding,and balanced.Wait for four different regions.(2)Efficiency factors and structural factors have a strong inhibitory effect on the animal husbandry carbon emissions in Hubei Province,while economic factors and population factors have shown a strong driving effect.Specific to the cities and prefectures,the situation is different.Among them,structural factors are the key factors that suppress the increase of carbon emissions from animal husbandry,and efficiency factors and labor factors have also played a certain role.Economic factors are responsible for carbon emissions from animal husbandry in cities and states in Hubei Province.Key incentives for increased volume.(3)From 2000 to 2017,animal husbandry between carbon emissions and its industrial development in hubei province is given priority to with strong decoupling and weak decoupling relationship,combined with the feature of its evolution can be divided mainly weak decoupling but with more adverse decoupling form the first stage(2001-2009)and is given priority to with strong decoupling,the weak decoupling and the negative decoupling state appear less frequently in the second stage(2010-2017);From a horizontal perspective,the decoupling relationship between the carbon emissions of animal husbandry and its industrial development in cities and states showed great differences in different years,with most regions in 2016 in a state of strong decoupling.
