Research On Decomposition Of Insurance Company's Operating Efficiency Based On DEA Malmquist Model

In the past ten years,China's insurance industry has developed rapidly,and the development of financial technology in the insurance industry is in the ascendant.The deep combination of various scientific and technological achievements and insurance has promoted the reform of the insurance industry,created a richer insurance scene and more marketing mode,which makes insurance further penetrate into people's life,and the insurance business has been reconstructed in the development of science and technology.The rapid development of insurance technology has a significant impact on the operating efficiency of insurance companies,especially for traditional insurance companies,which is not only a new challenge but also a new opportunity.In this thesis,dea-bcc model and DEA Malmquist index model are constructed,and 12 domestic insurance companies from 2008 to 2017 are taken as research objects to study and analyze their operating efficiency;through DEA related theories,the efficiency of technological progress,pure technological efficiency and scale efficiency are decomposed,and the contribution degree of technological progress of insurance companies to the growth of operating efficiency is further studied,and the index is designed Line measurement,to explore the impact of the development of insurance technology on its operating efficiency.The results show that the operating efficiency of insurance company is related to the scale and management level of the company,and the contribution of technological progress to the growth of operating efficiency is related to the scale,attributes and environmental factors of insurance company.This paper takes the decomposition of operating efficiency of insurance companies as the research topic,and further studies the impact of technological progress on operating efficiency,analyzes the driving force of operating efficiency and the contribution of technological progress,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for insurance companies to improve operating efficiency.
