The study area is geographically located in the area of Dure Town,Fuyun County,and tectonically located in the Paleozoic magmatic arc belt of Shemistai Kulankazgan.In recent years,many important copper mineralization bodies or veinlet copper mineralization points have been found in the volcanic rocks of Lower Devonian Torengkuduk Group and Early Carboniferous alkaline granites in Zhuwankara-Ashudasi area,which has good prospecting potential.However,owing to a large area of coverage by Paleogene Neogene and Quaternary sediments,the research on the copper deposits in the study area has been in a blank,little is known about the formation age and structural evolution of ore-forming rocks.Detailed geophysical and geochemical exploration is also insufficient etc.In this paper,the copper gold polymetallic deposit in the area of Dure is taken as the research object.On the basis of detailed field investigation,the comprehensive research is carried out by means of geophysical and geochemical exploration technology,SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating,and whole rock geochemical analysis.The following understandings have been achieved:(1)Based on SHRIMP zircon U-Pb dating and petrochemical analysis,combined with previous studies,it is considered that the area of Dure was a magmatic arc during the Devonian(411?375 Ma),which is favorable for the formation of copper deposits,and ore-bearing diorite(395.6±2.4 Ma)is part of this magmatic arc.The early Late Carboniferous(319.3±2.5 Ma)alkali granite and Late Carboniferous(304.1±2.8 Ma)quartz syenite porphyry,which are the product of continental mixing and crystallization differentiation,show A-type granite affinity.The former was formed in the late stage of post collision process,marking the end of orogeny and the beginning of intraplate extensional environment,while the latter was formed in intraplate extensional environment.(2)According to the comprehensive analysis,the copper polymetallic deposits in the area are affected by the regional NW-SE trending structure.The Devonian(411?375 Ma)mineralization is closely related to the active continental arc.The early Late Carboniferous to the late Late Carboniferous(319?304 Ma)mineralization,which is responsible for a series of volcanic hydrothermal copper gold polymetallic deposits,is related to magmatism formed in the post collisional and intraplate extensional tectonic environment.Based on the comprehensive analysis in present study,combined with previous studies,it is considered that there is a certain potential for copper exploration in the area of Dure.(3)On the basis of the characteristics of mineralization and alteration,geophysical and geochemical anomalies and prospecting indicators of the copper mineralization point,integrated with the regional metallogenic law,two prospecting potential areas are delineated by comparing the known deposits(points)in the adjacent area,namely,the Ashudasi copper and gold mineralization prospect area,the Dabacun-Zhuwankala copper and gold mineralization prospect area.
