Soil carbon(C),nitrogen(N),phosphorus(P)characteristics can be used to measure soil quality, but also an important basis for ecological restoration. The Kunnes River basin is located in the upper reaches of Ili River. The landform and topography of the basin are unique, and there are many kinds of vegetation, especially the meadow species, which have important scientific research value. With the expansion of water conservancy and irrigation projects and the development of river basin industrialization, the ecology of the river basin is damaged to varying degrees, and the water and soil loss in the river basin is becoming more and more serious. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the balance and restriction of C,N and P for improving the soil quality and ecological environment of the Kunnes River basin. In this study, the soil of different land use patterns in the Kunnes River basin in the Western Tianshan Mountains was taken as the research object.Through the systematic field investigation and experiment of soil, the ecological chemometrics method was used to analyze the spatial change characteristics of soil ecological chemometrics characteristics of different land use patterns in the basin, and the spatial distribution of soil C,N,P and their stoichiometric ratio was carried out in combination with the relevant GIS technology The purpose of this study is to provide a scientific basis for the assessment and utilization of the ecological environment of the Kunnes River basin. The main results are as follows:(1)The contents of C,N and P in the three land use types of the Kunnes River basin are relatively rich, and they all decrease with the increase of soil depth. The average value of C in forest land, grassland and farmland is 37.14g/kg,30.79g/kg and19.79g/kg respectively;the average value of n is 4.11g/kg,3.63g/kg and 2.12g/kg respectively;the average value of P is 0.75g/kg,0.84g/kg and 0.78g/kg respectively.Among them, the soil C content of forest land and grassland reached level I of soil classification standard, and the soil N content of forest land, grassland and farmland reached level I.(2)The C: N,N: P and C: P levels of the three types of land use in the Kunnes River basin are relatively low.The average values of C: N,N: P and C: P in forest land, grassland and farmland are 9.31,8.87 and 10.37 respectively. The average values of N: P and C: P are 5.49,4.34 and 2.99 respectively. The average values of C:P are 49.96,37.54 and 27.16 respectively.Among them, only forest land N: P reached the national average value of soil N: P.(3)The soil quality in the Kunnes River basin is mainly limited by C content, which has significant influence on C: N,N: P and C: P.(4)The content of C,N and P in the whole soil of the Kunnes River basin is relatively rich. The content of C,N and P in 93.3%,94.54% and 67.78% of the region of the Kunnes River basin are all up to the standard of nutrient classification. However, the overall level of stoichiometric ratio is low.The values of C: N,N: P and C: P in70.18%,92.84% and 99.95% of the regions are lower than the national average value of soil C: P.(5)The spatial distribution of soil C and N,N: P and C: P were similar in Kunnes River basin, showing high in the middle and upper reaches and low in the lower reaches. The distribution of C:N is opposite to that of C and N,and the spatial distribution of P content is more uniform in the watershed.
