Under the influence of global warming,drought disasters have occurred frequently in recent years in Hubei Province,which has a great impact on production and life.Therefore,the study of drought monitoring methods with better suitability,effective drought monitoring in Hubei Province,the study of the law of drought occurrence in the historical period of the region,and the prevention and control of drought disasters in combination with regional reality are not only conducive to the government's drought mitigation activities and regional agricultural production and people's lives,but also have important practical significance for regional sustainable development.This paper analyzed and summarized the monitoring methods of single index and comprehensive index at home and abroad.Based on mathematical modeling,a comprehensive drought monitoring index with good suitability was constructed.Taking Hubei Province as an example,the time series of comprehensive drought monitoring index in Hubei Province from 2002 to 2017 was reconstructed,and the drought process in Hubei Province in the past 16 years was quantitatively monitored.On this basis,the number of drought events,drought trend,drought range and drought frequency in Hubei Province were analyzed,and the temporal and spatial law of drought in Hubei Province was studied,and the corresponding countermeasures were put forward.The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:1.Based on the mathematical model,the rainfall,temperature,evaporation and SWCI of remote sensing data were obtained,and the integrated drought monitoring model was constructed and the comprehensive drought index was calculated.The comprehensive drought index takes into account not only the site data,but also remote sensing data.It is a comprehensive monitoring based onmulti-source data and multi-index.The verification of the comprehensive drought index shows that the standardized precipitation index not only has the same trend as the comprehensive drought index,but also has a good correlation between the standardized will index and the comprehensive drought index,with the correlation exceeding 0.6.Taking the drought events from November 2010 to May2011 as an example,the change of the comprehensive drought index is analyzed,and the results show that the comprehensive drought index can be very good.Monitor the beginning and end of drought events.2.The time series of comprehensive drought index in Hubei Province from 2002 to 2017 was reconstructed,and the spatial and temporal characteristics of drought in the whole province and four seasons of spring,summer,autumn and winter were studied.From 2002 to 2017,the annual comprehensive drought index of Hubei Province showed a trend of drought in most areas of northwest,north and Central Plains of Hubei Province,and wetting in most areas of southwest and Southeast mountains and hills of Hubei Province.The change trend of four seasons is mainly shown as follows: spring drought,early summer drought,summer drought and autumn drought are more serious in northeastern Hubei,while winter drought also tends to develop towards drought,which is a serious drought area;spring drought and early summer drought are less in Central Eastern Hubei,autumn drought and winter drought are less;spring drought and early summer drought are serious in northwestern Hubei;there is basically no spring and early summer drought in southwestern Hubei,and summer drought and autumn drought are also the lightest in the whole province.The lightest drought area.3.According to the spatial and temporal characteristics of drought in Hubei Province,according to the drought characteristics and time regularity of different regions in Hubei Province,and from the monitoring of drought itself and the most important water resources affecting drought,this paper puts forward the Countermeasures of drought prevention and control in Hubei Province as a whole and in various regions,mainly in the aspect of water resources regulation and utilization.
