The era of knowledge-based economy and the continuous development of science and technology promote the entire society to the informatization.The proportion of the value created by mental labor is increasing.Mental labor gradually becomes the major mode of work.At the same time,people face different levels of difficulty and complexity in their daily lives.Simple processing tasks such as immediate reaction to some signals,limited operation following fixed procedures,etc.Complex processing tasks such as some art creation work and the word needing for a lot of logical thinking.The main purpose of this paper is to explore the performance of subjective scales and objective physiological indicators with different task types and different difficulty levels.In this paper,we consider the method of multi-mode mental workload measurement and evaluation considering different task types and different tasks.The main contents are as follows:(1)According to the characteristics of different types of work tasks,we divide tasks into two types of mental workload tasks,determination reaction type of tasks and logical thinking type of task.Then design the preliminary task of mental workload experiment.(2)According to the designed experimental task,pre-experiment is carried out.Then select the appropriate number of high and low difficulty experimental materials.(3)Designing and implementing mental workload measurement experiments with different difficulty levels for different task types,using performance indicators,NASA-TLX scale,EEG signals and heart rate variability indicators to measure subjective and objective physiological indices and recording data and complete the corresponding data preprocessing.(4)Analyze the experimental results,and use variance analysis to explore whether the change tendency of the performance indicators,NASA-TLX scale,EEG signals and heart rate variability indicators in the same task types of different difficulty levels or in the same difficulty levels of different task types.The research results are an important complement to the measurement of mental workload,which provides a prerequisite for the type of tasks that must be considered in the real-time prediction of mental workload which is currently being broken through.It makes up for the blank of research and also providing theoretical basis and technical guidance to the measure of the mental workload of different tasks in different industries.So that the mental workload measurement plays a greater role in different industries such as job analysis and performance.
