The technology of low temperature plasma treatment at atmospheric pressure can improve the vitality of seeds,and has the advantages of convenient treatment,low cost,no need for a vacuum chamber to facilitate the continuous treatment of seeds and other advantages,which can effectively solve the shortcoming that the current low-temperature plasma processing device needs to keep the closed space when operating,greatly improving efficiency.In this paper,An low temperature plasma seed treatment device at atmospheric pressure has been developed based on the research of Dielectric barrier discharge at atmospheric pressure technology,the main work is as follows:First,a two-dimensional low temperature plasma at atmospheric pressure numerical simulation model based on Dielectric barrier discharge is established and verified by discharge experiments.The results of numerical simulation and discharge experiments show that:(1)low-temperature plasma generated by the discharge is in the shape of a beam,distributed on the upper surface area of the processed material,and the electron density can reach 1018/m3.The Electron temperature of the surface of the processed material is high,which is 1.8 eV,the energy of electron storage is large,the electron density is lower in the area between the processed materials and the lower area,the electron density is 107/m3,the electron temperature is lower,is 0.6 eV,so the material is wrapped by low-temperature plasma in the discharge experiment;(2)Through the atmospheric pressure dielectric barrier discharge experiment,it was found that the dielectric barrier discharge system can produce a uniform discharge after adding materials,and make the low temperature plasma distributed around the materials to be processed.Second,a device is designed for continuous low temperature plasma seed treatment at atmospheric pressure.According to the results of numerical simulation model and Dielectric barrier discharge at atmospheric pressure,the structure design of the device is completed,which mainly includes the quantitative feed device part,the rotary transport device part and the low temperature plasma at atmospheric pressure generation device part.The hardware design and software design of the control system are completed,and the software mainly includes the feeding subprogram,the heat dissipation subprogram and the motor driver subprogram.By comparing the simulation results of traditional PID controller,improved PID by genetic algorithm and improved PID by fuzzy algorithm,the PID controller improved by the fuzzy algorithm suitable for the device is selected,the ITAE value of the improved PID is 0.48,the step response time is 0.65 s,the overshoot is 0%and the steady-state error is 0.The trial production of low temperature plasma at atmospheric pressure treatment device was completed and the treatment effect of the device is verified by experiments.The low temperature plasma at atmospheric pressure treatment device can be Dielectric barrier discharge under atmospheric pressure.The continuous treatment and automatic control of the device are realized.The treatment capacity of the device is 7 kg/h,the treatment time,voltage amplitude and frequency were adjustable,The activity of Sudangrass seed treated by the device was increased by 29.5%,which proves that the effect of the device is obvious.
