Plant frost damage is one of the major natural disasters in the global agricultural field.Due to the cold or cold air from the Siberian and Inner Mongolia Plateaus,Shanxi Province show a high frequency of late spring frost.In this study,the meteorological data from 111 counties of Shanxi Province from 2000 to 2015 and investigation were investigated and the application effect of “Key Technologies for Early Warning and Prevention of Fruit Tree Frost”were analysis,the results as followed:The distance between the north and the south of Shanxi Province is over 700 kilometers,and the altitude difference is about 1100 meters.The annual average temperature difference between the north and the south is large,and the late frost occurs with great spatiotemporal frequency.The late frost often occurs from south to north,from east to west,and increaseing as the time over.Among them,the frequency of late frost damage in 6 counties,including Hejin,Xiangning,Xiangfen,Shilou,Changzhi County,and Qingxu,was extremely low;while in the four counties of Youyu,Wuzhai,Anze,and Xia County,late frost damage occurred.The frequency of up to 90%;the frequency of late frost damage in the remaining 90% of counties and cities is between grades 1-8(10-80%).According to the occurrence area and frequency of frost,the prevention and control of apricot late frost disaster in Shanxi Province can be divided into 3 areas and 1 severely affected area: the frost prevention and control area in flowering period,the frost prevention and control area in young fruit period,flowering period,young Fruit frost cross prevention and control area,severe disaster frost prevention and control area.“Key technology for early warning and prevention of fruit tree frost” has a significant application effect.Through accurate monitoring and combined fuel block use,the temperature of apricot orchards could be effectively increased,the freezing rate could be reduced,and the frost damage was effectively prevented.16 Fuel point of each 667m~2)can effectively alleviate the freezing rate.This results could provide a certain theoretical basis for the popularization and application of this technology.
