With the increasing difficulty and exploitation of terrestrial mineral resources,human beings have carried out research and development of deep-sea mineral resources,and have successively developed corresponding heavy-duty high-power subsea operation equipment,which are used to collect equipment on the seabed through surface ships.For remote control operations,it is necessary to solve the key technical difficulties such as safe and reliable long-distance transmission of power and signals through armored opto-electric composite cables.In order to meet the research and development needs of deep-sea cobalt-rich crust-scale sampling equipment,the paper researches and designs a set of 5500-meter armored opto-electric composite cable for strong electric power transmission and power supply monitoring and protection system,and completed the sea test certificate.1.The first chapter gives an overview of the development and research status of the strong electric power and power supply and distribution systems for deep sea and land equipment at home and abroad,and introduces the power supply and distribution methods for some deep sea equipment.And the purpose and main contents are summarized below.2.In the second chapter,according to the load conditions and requirements of the cobalt-rich crust scale sampler,combined with the domestic and international power supply and distribution system,the design and research on the power transmission system of the 4000m-class cobalt-rich crust scale sampler is carried out.The startup process of high-pressure underwater motor is analyzed and calculated,and two design schemes for soft start and direct start of high-pressure underwater motor are proposed.3.In the third chapter,the long-distance power transmission system of high-pressure underwater motor is designed and simulated by SIMULINK of matlab.The advantages and disadvantages of direct startup and soft start are compared,and the feasibility analysis of the scheme is completed.Finally,the system is running.The hazard caused by the short circuit fault is analyzed.4.The fourth chapter is based on the working conditions and performance requirements of the underwater working of the cobalt-rich crust scale sampler,and analyzes the common faults of power supply and distribution under deep sea water,the power control of the power distribution cabinet system and the power supply anddistribution system.Monitoring and protection is carried out for design research.The monitoring and protection module mainly includes overvoltage and overcurrent protection,phase sequence protection,online insulation monitoring,high pressure underwater motor leakage and overload protection.5.The fifth chapter carries out the verification test on each monitoring and protection module,and carries out the whole system load test.The test results show that the power supply and distribution and monitoring system can effectively protect the scale sampler system and ensure the stable and safe operation of the scale sampler under water for a long time.6.Finally,the contents of this paper were analyzed,and further work exhibition.
