In the modern petroleum exploration and development process, from theengineering method, there are roughly two ways: Cable Logging technique andLWD (Logging While Drilling) technique. But in general, the whole systemincluding the ground system (ground control part) and the underground system(downhole measurement part), so either cable logging or logging while drillingmethod, both need to monitor the working status of the underground loggingsystem equipment, measure the downhole formation physical parameters, andthen transmit the related data to the ground system for analysis. Due to thecondition of the underground environment is very rigorous, so the performancerequirements of the equipments are very strict. In general, logging equipmentswork in the complex environment of high-pressure, high-temperature andshaking, so the working parameters of the system equipment monitoring is veryimportant, it directly relates to whether the logging equipment operating in thenormal condition.In addition, due to the logging equipments measuring thousands of metersdeep underground, when the related software having some defects or the staffneed the downhole equipments changing some tasks, traditional method is tostop the entire system, put out of the downhole equipment, open the device shell,use the JTAG interface debugging and updatting the software. However, thismethod is inefficient, high cost, and bring risks to the stability of the device. So,we need to adopt a more advanced method to solve the above problems.Along the way of thinking, under the background of research group, thispaper discussed the logging monitoring circuit design scheme, set up thehardware system of the monitoring circuit, achieved the monitoring of thecorresponding circuit parameters, and sent them to the overground using a serialport. On the other hand, designed a remote in-system programming which basedon DSP, successfully implemented the monitoring circuit updating system software without using the JTAG interface. The monitoring circuit mainlyinclude: collecting circuit part, data processing part, DSP centre control portion,and communication interface, etc. So, around the DSP chip, which selected forcentre control, designed and built the hardware system. then, on this platform,designed the corresponding sofrware. Through the debugging test, achieved therelevant function. At last, it reached the expectant goal, which contributed to theteam on the logging system design.
