Abstract/Summary:
Advancements in organic light emitting diodes are making them more feasible as a replacement for modern large area lighting and high quality displays. This research examines different procedures for producing polymer thin films via spin coating as well as examining procedures for vapor deposition of metal cathodes for use in fabricating organic light emitting diodes. 1-V curves were used to determine the electrical characteristics of the devices that were constructed.
