| A study of the dynamic lock characteristic of the first and second order loops is presented. Conditions are derived for the maximum sinusoidal frequency deviation for which continuous looking is maintained. Verification of these conditions for a second order loop with a perfect high frequency integrator filter is carried out.;A special feature of the system is its use of solid state devices, especially the tunnel diode, in the essential loop components. |
