After following a vegetarian diet and becoming aware of its various benefits to self, human society and all planetary life, vegetarianism, in turn, will lead to an increase in social interest, as conceptualized by Alfred Adler and extended by the author. The rationale for this change occurring is that (1) a paradigm shift takes place when one becomes a vegetarian at heart for ethical reasons which--by definition--increases the scope of one's social interest, and (2) a biochemical change may take place in the brain when one eats vegetarian food that could predispose a person to behave in a friendlier, more useful, cooperative fashion.
