Abstract/Summary:
The effect of the environment on biological control of white mold (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) and grey mold (Botrytis cinerea) of bean was evaluated. Propagules of Alternaria alternata, Epicoccum purpurascens, Drechslera sp., Trichoderma viride, Gliocladium roseum, Myrothecium verrucaria, and a pink yeast were co-inoculated onto sterilized bean petals with spores of either S. sclerotinia or B. cinerea.
