| In 1 Timothy 3:4--5, Paul clearly instructs that one who desires to oversee a church must effectively manage his own household. As pastors lead their congregations or respective ministries, they must also lead a healthy home. The purpose of this thesis is to equip the staff of Charity Baptist Church in Kannapolis, North Carolina to lead a healthy home so they will be more effective in leading a healthy church. Scriptural analysis along with empirical evidence will be gathered by interviewing pastors and staff members of similar-sized churches to determine how these churches invest time and resources into developing and maintaining healthy pastoral staff families. The plan of action will be invaluable to the pastoral staff family development of Charity Baptist Church and to other churches with multiple pastoral staff members. |
