| An experimental study was carried out to develop polymer binder formulations which could be used in injection molding of metal powders.; These polymer/metal compounds were then injection molded for the evaluation of the mechanical properties of the molded compacts. A detailed investigation was done to examine the cracking of the molded parts. The results obtained were analyzed in terms of the difference in composition and rheology of the compounds, and the molding conditions used. |
