Abstract/Summary:
In this research paper, we develop a generic model for processes innovation, which facilitates organizational transformation by using systems dynamics as a modelling and simulation tool.; The present research emerges as an answer to organizational modelling processes need for both, systems thinking and systems dynamics simulation, as agile tools for decision-making in the modern managerial world.; This research thesis develops a methodological platform that includes systems dynamics simulation stages: conceptualisation, formalization, and analysis and evaluation of the proposed model; in turn, each one of these is posed for methodology RapidRe phases, whenever this is possible. RapidRe is a specific methodology for processes innovation.; This methodological platform is applied to a textile sector company from Valencia, “Dynamic Colors S.A”, including all and each one of the stages enunciated in the methodology, reflecting the dynamic vision of the systems to model, and so demonstrating its feasibility by using Powersim software as a simulation tool.; Equally, this experimentation demonstrates the applicability of systems dynamics in organizational modelling for processes innovation, as a practical and useful tool to visualize organizational transformations deriving from internal changes and managerial environment, as well as to be able to contrast the execution of the proposed objectives.
