A multiagent system for resource allocations is presented. The system is based on Remote Procedure Call (RPC) and Common Gataway Interface (CGI) techniques. It employs nested transaction control and multiagent coordination to perform resource allocations on WWW. The system is tested in construction resource allocations. Its utilities are illustrated in scheduling, evaluating, and monitoring construction processes. Application testing shows that the system is scalable, reliable, and flexible. It can be easily extended for other applications. |
