Abstract/Summary: | |
In this thesis, the problem of cooperative conscious learning in a multi-agent environment is investigated. This thesis attempts to create a small-scale multi-agent framework for future research in evolving high-order intelligence from Artificial Life.;Cooperative learning describes a distributed learning process in which each agent learns a part of the whole knowledge-base. Consciousness in this context describes the ability to represent knowledge in a symbolic form. Symbolic knowledge can be shared among agents for cooperative learning purposes.;The experiments show that cooperative conscious learning can be implemented in a small-scale multi-agent framework. Several agents exhibit learning and knowledge sharing in a small-scale platform in a timely manner. The framework developed in this thesis proves suitable for future experiments in Artificial-Life. |
