Abstract/Summary:
Application of fuzzy logic concept has some impressive concept in the field of control systems engineering. It is described as "An integration of several subsystems to the main system that performs a particular logical task beyond certain mathematical calculations", provide a desired meaningful response of the system. This means that a control system needs to know the response (input) and it has to process this input and attempt to achieve its stability in the same desired manner with the help of knowledge-based rule sets. The rule sets are applied to achieve desired output by implementing this knowledge base on a simple inverted pendulum problem.;Previously, the knowledge base data were extracted and collected using a program in Microsoft Visual Studio C++. The extracted knowledge base can be used to calculate the output of the fuzzy system for a given input. However, in recent years, obtaining information resources quickly, efficiently, and utilized for the purpose of e-learning in the education field has become increasingly important by utilizing internet technologies. Hence, increased in the demand of web-based simulators.;In this thesis a web-based fuzzy logic simulator has been designed and developed using Dreamweaver tool and JavaScript. The script simulates and computes the desired motor current to balance the pendulum.
