| This thesis focused on three specific methods of channel coding technique, Random Linear Network Coding, Reed-Solomon Codes, and Luby Transform Codes, to combat the packet loss in erasure channels. Evaluations based on our implementations are provided from the aspects of computational complexity, reliability, and encoding inefficiency. Conclusions on the advantages and drawbacks of each approach are drawn from the comparisons and analysis in the last chapter. |
