Abstract/Summary:
With current world financial markets all heading in the same direction, it is imperative to constantly assess how the globalized free market is establishing repercussions affecting those most vulnerable to its movements. Through analyzing capitalist corporations we can note how, where, when and what is driving profit margins to heights as never seen before. One territory in particular holds most, if not all, the characteristics and personalities of the modern world economic state, Saipan. Saipan is a perfect model to comprehend past, present, and future issues in the third world. Therefore, by examining Saipan now and in the future, we can follow the path of the world economic system and the devastations it leaves in its tracks. In following the patterns of this system, hope becomes stimulated and real change is tangible to those who carry the free market on their backs.
