Abstract/Summary:
The issue of God's existence has been a topic of discussion for thousands of years. One of the main discussions involves the teleological argument, which states that everything in the universe exhibits design, purpose, and final causes that are clear indicators of an intelligent designer—God. This paper will discuss the various forms and developments of teleology throughout history. It will also demonstrate how teleology can reveal the existence of God. Some of the counter arguments, such as scientific materialism, will be examined. The conclusion of this work will demonstrate the positive implications of teleology by bridging the gap between science and theology, and by bringing a stronger morality to society and the individual.
