The production thesis of Cean M. Burgeson examines American propaganda during the Second World War. The project focuses on people's reactions to the propaganda and their thoughts regarding the idea of government-sponsored propaganda during this era in history. Further investigations were made as to the effects of these propaganda messages and the success of these messages in uniting the citizenry of the United States in support of the war effort. The end product is a documentary entitled “Have I got a War to Sell You”. Willing participants were interviewed as to their thoughts, feelings, and impressions of the various types of propaganda common during World War II. |
