Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this investigation was to compare bilateral internal and external rotation shoulder strength, both concentrically and eccentrically. Twenty-two college-level baseball pitchers were evaluated using a Cybex 6000 isokinetic dynamometer. Each subject was tested using a standardized protocol in the supine position at angular speeds of 60;This investigation provides data useful when evaluating shoulder torque characteristics of college-level pitchers.
