The contents of the thesis cover the following new developments: (1) Computerized design, generation and simulation of meshing and contact of low noise, stable bearing contact spiral bevel gears. The developed new approach is based on application of geodetic path of contact and predesigned parabolic function of transmission errors. The tooth strength is improved by application of the approach mentioned above. (2) New approach for determination of singularities of generated surface, avoidance of undercutting, formation of edge of regression by surface singularities and formation of envelope to contact lines on the generating surface. (3) Extension of concept of axes of meshing and its application to synthesis of conjugated surfaces. |
